P.e.t.a (people eating tasty animals) has done it again. These bored individuals with twisted minds have now decided to rename fish in "sea kittens". This is their lame attempt at having people "care" about fish much as some do for fluffy / allergy causing house pets.
Their web site http://www.peta.org/sea_kittens/ is a child friendly version of the crap they spew, attempting to poison the mind of our youth. The make fish out to be lovable little animals that have feelings, have bedtime fish stories about "snuggle buddies" and the likes.
One of their other web sites http://fishinghurts.com/ now mentions
"the dangers of sea kitten consumption".

WTF?
Are these guys for real?
I hope to take my kids out for some "ice kittening" pretty soon...

Yes I agree with you theirs one thing about killing cats or dogs for the pleasure of it, that is cruel, but fishing is a sport for either being with your friends and enjoying a day out or just catch the fish and eat it.
Their just bored with themselves.
